Laurie Brown

Laurie Brown was raised in Los Angeles and holds an M.A. in Fine Arts from California State University, Fullerton. She has had one-person and group exhibitions at numerous galleries and museums in the West, and her wide-angle landscapes have been published in Recent Terrains: Terraforming the American West (2000) and Las Vegas Periphery: views from the Edge (2013). Brown was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship Grant in 1978 and in 2002 she was designated Outstanding Individual Artist of the year by ARTS Orange County.
